Increase of productivity of continuous casting machines and improvement of quality of continuously cast billet (slab)


1. Initial cooling zone

  • production of a crystallizer model. The model is a precise copy of the crystallizer;

 

  • examination of crystallization processes, revelation of disadvantages and reasons for unstable crystallization;

 

  • development of the optimal construction of the crystallizer (physical and mathematical modeling);
  • development of the optimal construction of an immersion cup of the crystallizer (physical modeling);
  • project development.

2. Second cooling zone

  • calculation of technological parameters of a continuous casting machine:

    • temperature and speed;
    • parameters of cooling according to zones depending on casting speed and temperature of metal;

  • development of the second cooling zone project if necessary;
  • production and shipment of equipment if necessary.

3. Software development

  • development of the project of an automatic control system which conforms to the continuous casting machine software:
  • the software ensures control over the cooling speed of an ingot according to zones and depending on casting speed and temperature of metal;
  • preparation of technical and technological documentation.

4. Technological support and practical confirmation of planned results by a Customer.
